Binodiini – Ekti Natir Upakhyan Movie Collection

Binodiini – Ekti Natir Upakhyan was released on 23 January 2025 and directed by Ram Kamal Mukherjee. Produced by Dev Entertainment Ventures, this was the second film from the banner without Dev in the cast, after Habu Chandra Raja Gobu Chandra Montri.

The film featured Rukmini Maitra in the titular role, with Kaushik Ganguly and Rahul Bose in key roles. Backed by a higher-than-average budget for a Bengali film ₹4.5 crore, Binodiini was positioned as a big release for early 2025. It received a strong IMDb rating of 8.1, showing that the audience who watched it appreciated its content and performances.

When it comes to the Binodiini movie collection, the film had a modest run. It picked up slightly in the second half of its release and managed to collect around ₹28 lakhs during that period. By the end of its theatrical run, Binodini earned a total of ₹1.55 crore.

While ₹1.55 crore is a respectable figure for many Bengali films, it was far below the high production cost. As a result, Binodiini was declared a flop at the box office, despite positive reviews and a talented cast.
