Felubakshi Bengali Movie Collection

Felubakshi is a Bengali detective film directed by Debraj Roy, released on January 17, 2025. The name itself hints at its concept, combining the legendary Feluda and Byomkesh Bakshi into a new character, Felu Bakshi. Soham Chakraborty plays the lead, with Madhumita Sarkar as Devyani, and Shataf Figar and Parimani in key roles.

Despite an interesting idea and a decent IMDb rating of 6.8, the film struggled at the box office. The Felubakshi movie collection stood at just ₹25 lakhs in its entire run, far short of its ₹1 crore budget. This led to it being declared a disaster.

The poor performance could be due to strong competition, unmet expectations from detective fans, or lack of buzz. While the concept was fresh, it failed to connect with the wider audience, making Felubakshi one of the major box office disappointments of 2025.
