Killbill Society Box Office Collection

Killbil Society, directed by star filmmaker Srijit Mukherjee, released on April 11, 2025. It is the second part of the 2012 hit Hemlock Society, once again starring Parambrata Chatterjee as Ananda Kar, alongside Koushani Mukherjee. Like the first film, this one also comes with twists and a surprising climax, a trademark of Srijit’s storytelling.

The music, composed by Anupam Roy, added to the appeal, with several songs gaining appreciation. While the original Hemlock Society was both a critical and commercial success, Killbil Society faced a tougher box office journey.

The budget of the film was ₹4 crores. On release, it earned ₹12 lakh on day one, followed by ₹23 lakh and ₹33 lakh. By the end of its first week, the Killbil Society movie collection stood at ₹1.40 crore, a decent start for a Bengali release.

However, the momentum slowed in the second week, with only ₹60 lakh added. The final lifetime collection landed between ₹2.90 crore and ₹3.10 crore. Despite a respectable run, it could not recover its cost and was declared a flop.
